Skywind Group Receives B2B Permit from the Swedish Gambling Authority
15.06.2024
The Swedish Gambling Authority (SGA) has awarded Skywind Group a B2B permit. This is a major step forward because, beginning July 1st, all gaming software developers must have a license in order to operate in the Swedish market.
Erkki Nikunen, Partner and CCO at Skywind, shared his delight, saying that the Swedish license is a tribute to their teamโs dedication and commitment to excellence. He emphasized their eagerness to bring their portfolio, which includes popular titles like Wandering Devourer and Neon Shifter, to this important European market.
This announcement comes on the heels of MGA Games, another industry heavyweight, receiving a license from the Swedish regulator Spelinspektionen. MGA Games has a diverse portfolio of over 100 games with popular themes such as Captain Nemo, Frozen Queen, Jade Goddess, and Circus Mystery.
Moreover, Skywind Group has secured a distribution partnership with Rootz, an iGaming platform provider regulated and licensed in Malta. Victor Borg Barthet, Director and COO of Skywind Malta, expressed his delight at collaborating with Rootz to bring their captivating games to a wider audience.
Originating as a provider of cutting-edge digital casinos, Rootz has cultivated an outstanding standing in a mere half-decade. Their technologically advanced framework provides users with an exceptional encounter, and we are certain that Rootz enthusiasts will adore our offerings. We are eager to gather their feedback!
Shifting gears, the Air Dice Group recently onboarded Rocio Moitino to serve as their Sales Director for the Latin American region. She formally assumed this position in March of 2023.
